TSI Funding 2010-11 for NVQs, Induction and Short Courses is now available through Care Learning to organisations in Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
You can download the application form and evidence sheets only from our website. This application form will be printed and distributed, along with the next Care Learning Newsletter due out by the end of September. This ensures that our TSI Funding application is fully accessible to everyone. This unavoidable delay is due to the very late approval of this funding stream and funding cuts affecting Care Learning.
Last year all funding for TSIF 2009-10 was claimed by 31st December 2009, so many organisations lost out. Don’t delay in submitting your claims for 2010-11.
More information: http://www.carelearning.org.uk/funding/tsif-2010-2011 or click Funding on top menu and select TSIF 2010-11
If you have any questions or want to discuss the funding available then please contact Philip on 0117 973 3695. |

Have you updated your Common Induction Standards? |
Skills for Care has refreshed the Common Induction Standards to ensure they are fit for purpose and reflect current policy and practice. The standards are for people entering social care, and those changing roles or employers within social care.
The standards now map across to the mandatory units of the new Health and Social Care Diploma to ensure there is consistency of approach for the workforce. There are now eight standards, however they will not take any longer to complete and the core elements are still retained.
For more information and resources on the new standards please click here or visit www.skillsforcare.org.uk/cis |
